When my nephew was getting married in 1996, a friendship quilt was being made for the new couple and I was sent a square of white material .... see above!! I don't quilt & had no other stitching talents so I wasn't sure what I was going to do. So I decided to keep it simple & did this little bit of cross stitching on that white piece of material. Can you believe it - I was hooked!! I've been x-stitching ever since. The bottom quilt is beautiful, even with my very plain piece.
